As part of Senior Design Project, I was part a multi-disciplinary team for the construction of Data Athletic's Speed Machine. It's an "Overspeed Training" machine that pulls a runner forward in order to make them run faster than usual, as if downhill. The mechanical team constructed the machine, the electrical machine programed it's Arduino board that controls it, and I, the sole member of the computer science 'team', developed an Android app. Its purpose is to manage a list of athletes, record their stats, and communicate to the machine's board using Bluetooth communication.
